His storekeeper, wife and 2 children are on the premises daily but in all only about 8 gallons per diem would be used. [Note: 18/11/64 City Eng's report: WS. The water has not been cut off Mr Pockley's premises, it is still on and the rates not paid for this half year. Since this letter came in the premises have been reinspected and there are Store Rooms - 18, Offices - 3, Dwelling - 3; in all 24 rooms for which he is now charged £5 and should be charged £6. When he was told to put in a meter it was on the understanding that it was to supply shipping. When he said he did not wish to supply shipping he was told that rooms could not be supplied by meter.
