We bring to your notice an error in the Assessment of a property in Bridge St, No 793 Bourke Ward, It is an old wooden shed made into a shop and let at £46/16/- p.a., the landlord paying all taxes. Vacant from Oct 1869 to March 1871 and consequently no notice of valuation assessment received or seen. Assessor advised put down as same value a the 2, 3 storey houses adjoing at £149 p.a.
