(Note: Col Architect - Fire service to Govt Printing Offc. As this water will only be used in the event of a fire, and is intended to form a security in such case the establishment being already well supplied with water, I assume that the Government will pay the cost. I estimate the expense of laying a 4 inch main from Macquarrie Street along Bent St to a point opposite the Printing office at £36.
