(Note: 7/6/82 ackd. As this letter complains of a "choked gully", I would like Mr Seymour to see it, & report on it: ACM; 7/6/82. The men who clean the gully shafts say that it did not overflow and I send you herewith their statement respecting the matter. I have inspected the gully in question and find it clean & see no signs of it having overflowed. The guttering on Mr Bulfin's premises and also on Mr Chilton's adjoining is very defective: statements signed by Philip Martin and E Driscoll follow: RS; 12/6/82. From the attached reports I cannot find that any neglect on the part of the Corporation is apparent: ACM;14/6/82.
