(Note: City Surveyor. Water-Supply from Homebush Dam. The Council is already letting a large quantity of water be tapped from this Dam: and (unless the permission be on sufferance only, and withdrawn directly the water supply becomes short) there is a danger it may seriously affect the supply to the stock yards -- If the Council agrees to accede to this request it should be clearly on above condition, and the pipe should be so placed as only to draw water from dam when it is full: say to the level of with two (2) inches of the bye wash: ACM;12/3/86. water must be charged for or not allowed to be taken - an agreemt to pay at least 1/- per 1000 gallons pumped in all cases: JY. 22/3/76 reply)LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
