Draw attention to lighting by Gas where enclosed by Canvas for dressing rooms for Artistes now performing, and request [fire] screens where so used, the Gas brackets be capped to avoid accident from Fire, and to have metal pendants placed over the Gas brackets in the wooden offices where they are not more than 18 inches from the ceilings. The defect to be remedied so the respective policies may not be jeopardised. Notes: G M, City Architect: inspected, Brackets complained of to be removed until partitions taken down, and plumber to instal metal guards on timber ceilings in side rooms.
