I am rated at £70 pa in the assessment roll and paid 30s rent pw for some 12 years and complain of smoke from a chimney erected some time ago by Mr S Burdekin or Mr Harvey, our worthy member for Bligh. It affects my home and been complained of by other men of substance, and Mr Burdekin's tenants. I did not sign a petition several years ago about this chimney due to my personal support of Mr Burdekin, and I assist him in his elections. Notes: Insp of Nuisances.
