The Committee recommended that if Council acquired the site then the following works should be carried out: 1. The extension of Clarence St, south of Druitt St; 2. Paving of footway of George Street from Druitt St to Bathurst St; 3. Enclosure of the land bounded by George, Bathurst and Clarence Streets and the Old Burial Ground with a dwarf wall and iron palisading; 4. Removal of all human remains found within the old burial ground to Haslems Creek.
