Memorial [petition] of the inhabitants in and about the neighbourhood of Erskine Street, Brisbane Ward, entreating that Council would think fit to open to the public the wharf at the end of Erskine Street, pointing out that the proposed spot is now only appropriated for the gentlemen of the Garrison to bathe there at all times, a recreation which could equally occur in a more delicate site rather than in front of a populous neighbourhood.
