The report is a draft with many amendments. The report contains information on type of works (kerbing, repairs, drainage, forming of streets etc), means of works (employment of labourers, or use of contractors), costs of work, the provision of kerbing by Council in return for laying of flagging by citizens, difficulties in supply of road metal (expiry of contract of Donaldson & Harding to supply blue metal from Pennant Hills, purchase of ships' ballast) and mention of significant works in progress (opening and formation of Harris St, the opening of Argyle St, the prolongation of George St South) and recommends the appointment of an Inspector of Nuisances.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
