Appended: Memo from Chas H Woolcott, Town Clerk, with Council resolution to refer the matter of public conveniences to the Committee; Memo from Edward Bell, City Engineer, listing most eligible sites for urinals: (George St - several locations, Haymarket, Macquarie Place, near Benevolent Asylum, Court of Requests, Gaol, Market Wharf, Barrack Square, Hyde Park, Hunter & Bligh Sts); Letter from PN Russell & Co sending a catalogue of Macfarlane's Patent Cast Iron Sanitary Appliances and offering to make or import as required; Memo from Chas H Woolcott, Town Clerk, transmitting resolution of Council to authorise the Committee to lay kerbing and guttering in front of premises of parties desiring such on entering into a bond to pave the footway within one month of completion of the kerbing etc.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordNo
