The Sub-Committee received details of works of the greatest emergency required in the opinion of the City Surveyor but noted that the existing contracts already signed with John Dingwall (kerbing and guttering) and Joseph Bayliss (tools) would require most of the funds already allocated to the Improvement Committee.
