Report to the Water Committee regarding the levelling of the sandbank on the north side of the engine works at Botany, as well as planting and grass to prevent the sand from being blown about. If 20,000 yards of sand were removed from the hill it would reduce it sufficiently for the planting, and it could be used to finish the embankment on the southern side of the reservoir. Estimated cost would not exceed £1,000 for the sand removal and £80 for grassing and planting.
