(Note: City Surveyors report over. Memo in the matter of Mr Watson's encroachment in Cumberland St near Charlotte Place. The proposition to remove the iron railing and cover the area with flagging, leaving openings covered with gratings to admit light to the basement rooms, is the simplest way to overcome the present difficulty, and comply with the requirements of the Act.
