If the proposed alteration were made, I am of opinion that it would not only be no detriment to the road, but it would rather facilitate the surface drainage of the locality. I would suggest that the questions for consideration of the Council are :- Have the Council the power to make the concession? and if so:- Is it advisable to do so, and establish a precedent of this kind: THB; 2.3.78.
