Francis Bell, City Engineer. Under instructions from the Water Committee to report on which premises including private houses are supplied with water by meter, and on whose authority. He reports that there are five private houses supplied with water by meter at Darling Point: M E Murnin, F Jackson, C Newton, E Cox, J Newton. He refused the applications of Deane, Tooth and Dr Bowker, but during his illness instructions were given to Mr Robertson by Mr Morris authorizing the supply by meter to them.
