His survey of a mile of the new diversion of road at Bunnerong is still not completed after 22 days. The Survey Department price paid for one mile of road surveyed is £3.10.0 whereas this mile has cost £25.5.3 so far. Attached is another report of 2 pages written by Bell in response to Ellis's letter (No 627).
