They will be auctioning the land of Thomas Broughton Esq which is a block fronting Wattle and Levy Streets Chippendale, immediately adjoining the Colonial Sugar Co' s land and the Darling Nursery Estate. Their client has allowed the Corporation to place a sewer through the land at the side of the Black Wattle Stream. The present sewer is not enough to carry off the immense flow of water. They ask that the Black Wattle Stream be filled in and a street made upon it. There is a plan of the proposed subdivision attached.
