(Note: McGill's letter 25/7/87. At a conference between the Mayor, the Town Clerk, the City Solicitor and the Mayor of Randwick held in the Mayors Room this morning (Saturday 30 July) after Mr McGill had been interrogated regarding his losses and his prospects of carrying out his contract for the lease of the Randwick Toll Bar it was resolved: that providing Mr McGill on Wednesday next August 3rd paid the amount of the July rent and furnished the name of an approved Bondsman - to be approved by the City Solicitor - & his depositing the sum of £250 as security pending the completion of the Bond by the City Solicitor his contract price be reduced from £3,400 to £3,200 and that the arrears of rent for the month of June be cancelled.
