(Note: 16/11/88 Ack. City Surveyor. Herewith I beg to enclose a letter from Mr Chas Gerber re the erection of a building on Land within the Sydney Common. I believe there has been previous correspondence in this matter which may have been referred to you. Please advise: RWR; 26/11/88 A case tried some years ago. Do you remember the circumstances?: RWR; 26/11/88. 248/1784. Charles Gerber There are letters from Mr Charles Gerber questioning the right of an occupation near Sydney Common. I have instituted a most careful inquiry and caused an accurate survey, upon which I am led to advise that action be not taken to eject the occupant or to question his right. The land referred to does not encroach upon the Sydney Common Boundary as laid down on the Auction Sale Plan Block T dated 14th December 1881.
