Cope & King solicitors, 14 Castlereagh St. Their client Mr Davidson has been served with a notice to remedy drainage nuisance at his property 34 Mount Street. The cause of the problem is that Mrs Agnew, the owner of the adjoining property, 85 Harris Street had the drainage pipe which runs through her land, removed and cemented up. Cope & King give some history of the right of easement regarding drainage since 1860. Attached is a sketch of the properties. There is a report by Richard Seymour, Inspector of nuisances, that Mr Davidson has seen him, and said that he would remedy the evil without delay and will take action against Mrs Agnew.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
