D Gwynne-Hughes, City Health Officer. He submits a report on the health of the City of Sydney for the month of October 1892. Attached is a table of numbers of deaths per age and type of disease. He concludes that the health of the City is in a very satisfactory state. There are no deaths from dentition, fever, small pox, croup, measles, erysipelas. Categories with deaths are: head 20, heart 9, chest 17, phthisis 22, abdomen 23, diarrhoea 5, diptheria 2, scarlatina 1, (whooping) hooping cough 2, debility and age 9, other causes 33.
