Asks that the Council consider their private-enterprise scheme as an alternative to the proposed Bill regarding the Common at Moore Park. Attached is a copy of a letter to the Premier and Members of Parliament of NSW which mentions a recent decision by Mr Justice Owen regarding the Public Rights and encroachments on the Public Parks and Commons. They have under their control 120 acres of freehold land at Kensington which they propose to convert into a Gigantic Metropolitan Show and Sports Ground which could be used by the Agricultural and other Societies, cricket ovals, bicycle tracks, lawn tennis, bowling greens etc and mentions the Eastern Suburbs Railway and the cable tram.
