Superintendent of Footways says that he is currently having trouble employing all the masons and suggests retaining a team of 4 for maintenance work. City Surveyor points out that the men employed are engaged in many tasks beside stone masonry. He supports Mr Browne's idea of a team of 4 and says these men are perfectly content with their wages and working hours.
