Also to report whether the duties alluded to in Cr Holden's Motion relative to the assessment of the buildings in Sydney could not be performed by the Surveyors at present employed by the Corporation. Appended to the report: Two schedules of salaries recommended by the Committee Thomase listed by name in the first schedule are: Town Clerk John Rae, Mayor's Secretary and Assistant to the Town Clerk, W. C. Wills; Surveyor, William Moir; Assistant to the Surveyor, William Buchanan; Clerk and Draftsman, F. W. Sheilds; Treasurer, Ed Lord; Solicitor, G.R. Nichols; Clerk of the George Street Markets, John Parker; Clerk of the Hay & Cattle Market, W. F. Parker; Water Works Superintendent at Hyde Park, J. M. F. Graham; at Dockyard, H. McLean; Watchman at Lachlan Swamp, R. Morrow; Inspector of Slaughterhouses, E. B.
