Albert Bond, City Architect, Bell's Chambers. He has inspected the foundations of the stores to be erected by the lessee Mr Alex'r Kethel at Market Wharf. He describes how they intend to lay footing stones on 'made ground' and the use of iron banding. However he considers the foundations are inadequate, because of the possibility of settlement and percolation of water from Darling Harbour.
