F A von Hammer, Ladies Corporation Baths, Sydney Domain. He rented the Baths in October 1875, and they were then in a very dilapidated state. He has expended considerable sums in repairing and restoring them. His wife and daughters conduct the baths, they are expert swimmers and give instruction. During the last season there was a smallpox epidemic and three men of war ships were anchored off the baths. Their takings for the summer months were £240 less than the corresponding period last year and he has had to sequestrate his estate.
