A long report which includes the numbers of births and deaths for the quarter, the causes of deaths, and infant mortality. There has been no epidemic outbreak, and the alarm over the appearance of small pox has resulted in more vigilant attendance to cleanliness and drainage. He recommends that sanitary laws be applied to the suburbs. The boiling down and offal yards are dangerous to health in the highest degree. He recommends the building of a fever hospital, and consumptive and childrens hospitals.
