J Freeston, Markets, Sydney. There has been an increase in the rent to a greater extent than he had expected for his two shops in York Street Markets, and gives details of the rent change. He is at a disadvantage because he is outside the Market, with no "commencement" with the interior of the Market. There is a notation by C H Woolcott the Town Clerk that here has been a "trifling error" in calculating the weekly rents of Nos 7, 8 and 9 York Street, but altering the rent will require the framing of further resolutions of the Council.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
