He asks for permission to run electric wires from their central station in the South Coast and West Camden Co Building in Sussex Street, along Sussex Street, into either Bathurst or Druitt Street to George Street. They are anxious to put in a tender for the lighting of the Town Hall for the Centenary Display. There is a report by R W Richards, City Surveyor that they want to open up footways, and erect poles, and he suggests that an agreement be drawn up to protect the interest of the Citizens.
