I am directed to state that not disposed to pay anything as have pathways on [our] side with no City contribution. When ballasting and blinding was carried out, expenses be equally divided, and footways on either side by respective Councils at own cost. Note: City Surveyor: Not aware of understanding claimed, and have suggested Paddington build the walls. 2. TC to put this before City Solicitor to compel Paddington to contribute.
