(Note:see 1943/88. 26/9/88 Ack. 26/9/88 Town Clerk: JH. Will the City Surveyor make an appointment with Sir A Stephens: HJD; 27/9/88. This is a letter from Sir Alfred Stephen on behalf of the Trustees of Hyde Park and dated the 25th Sept 88 applying for the removal of urinal in Park Street at corner of College Street. This urinal might be entirely removed if the Hyde Park Trustees bear the cost of such removal and grant permission for the erection of a urinal upon the Park along College Street frontage in a similar position and manner to that erected near St James' Road. Such an arrangement would meet the public requirements as well as serving the interests of the Trust.
