(City Surveyor. The accompanying plan [included] shews the position of the Corporation Wharf, also the limit line for wharfage accommodation granted to the company on the northern side of street extension from which it will be seen that there is no space for a boat to get alongside the wharf, and from inquiry made at the Government Offices (Mr ? Informs me that the Corporation have only the right of the water at the end of the street (and not fronting private property) and if such is the case the only way to give accommodation to these small boats would be to extend the jetty as shewn by broken red lines on plan, and so make room for the boats within the prolongation of the Building lines of the street)LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
