The premises, 139 Regent St lately occupied by Mr Robert Lucas, were purchased by the bank on 21 December 1880, and occupied by them on 1 July last. When the water rate assessment was made the premises were used as an hotel and rated at 26 rooms. since then extensive alterations have been made, reducing the number of rooms to 12, besides kitchen washhouse, stable and two earth closets, totalling 17 rooms.
