A McL Henderson & Co, Forbes Street. They were taken to court by the Corporation, who lost the case, and they are asking for compensation. They were inconvenienced for 7 or 8 months while the concrete "sewer" was laid, and they had been prosecuted for damaging the kerb with their carts when they crossed the recently built drain when entering their yard in Forbes Street. There is a notation by J Trevor Jones, City Engineer that A McL Henderson & Co could have constructed a bridge over the drain similar to dozens of others in the city.
