He states blasting is causing damage to private property and rubble from the excavations is being piled up on the road to the detriment of vehicular traffic. City Surveyor suggests that the Under Secretary of the Public Works Department be contacted to put a stop to the blasting, pointing out that such blasting is contrary to the law proscribed by the Sydney Corporation Act.
