To order from overseas would involve a considerable delay. They have therefore proposed an alternative solution to be provided by them at no extra cost to the council. The City Building Surveyor provides a detailed explanation of the substitution and recommends that the Mayor accepts the proposal. Proposal is accepted but some extra testing is required.
