I have also been waited upon by a Member of Brisbane Ward, who was requested to do so by the Citizens of that Ward, stating that the house of Mr Carmichael, Baker, King Street, is likewise threatened. It is therefore requested that you will take every precautionary step to avoid threatened danger, and will use all energy necessary, without delay, for preservation of the peace. Since writing the above, I have received similar communication from Mr S Lyons stating that a mob, who have already threatened his person, are collecting opposite his house.
