(Note: Ebsworth & Co bursting of sewer. These premises and those of their neighbor Messrs Mort are not provided with drains to discharge the water that falls on the surface, or only very defective ones and this flooding was in no way attributable to any bursting of sewer I would advise that both premises provide drains, as the Council is in no way responsible for any damage arising from such flood as occurred on the 5th inst: JTJ; 22/4/82. 29/4/82 reply)LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
