(Note: Previous to receiving this petition Mr Buttell's butchering premises in Pitt Street, were inspected regularly every week the same as all other butchers' premises, and on one occasion (24th March last, he was fined £5/5/0 for dirty premises and slaughtering thereon - Since receiving this petition I again inspected the premises and gave instructions for the whole of the yard to be asphalted and a proper manure pit sunk and cemented. Upon inspection of the premises again this day, at 10:30 in company with Messrs Watkins and Baker, I find this work carried out in the most satisfactory manner and all the stables and sheds properly flagged and drained, leaving not the lightest sign, or cause of a nuisance or room for complaint: RS; 22/6/82)LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
