Asking for authority to put a junction pipe into the sewer now being constructed across Moore Park, to intercept and carry off the drainage which flows from the engine pit at their coke shed into the pond at the back of the entrance to the Association Cricket Ground. There is a notation by J Trevor Jones, City Engineer that the contents of the ash pit may choke the pipes and the blowing of hot water and steam may cause damage, so he suggests building a large double brick chamber so that water may cool and clarify, and these pits must be periodically cleared out.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
