Tooth & Co, Kent Brewery, Sydney. They have received instructions to connect the drainage from the closets on their premises in Greens Lane, off George Street West, with the sewer. They ask that a nine inch pipe be laid in the lane. There are notations by J Trevor Jones, City Engineer that the owner of the drain refuses permission to connect the pipe, so it will be necessary to extend a 9 inch drain along Green Lane, and he advises that the work be carried out, as the Health Officer insists on the sanitation of the locality.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
