He transmits the nessecary certificate from the Mayor which confirms the sum of 5000 pounds was levied by the assessment of the inhabitants of the City for Police purposes and requests a warrant be issued from the Colonial Treasury to the sum of 362 pounds, 7 shillings and 6 pence which is the corrected balance as stated by his letter of 15 May 1844..
