He states on presenting the notice to the Mayor, the Mayor deemed it contrary to standing orders to bring the notice forward in this manner as it could be presented at the next meeting without notice. As directed by the Mayor he informs Alderman Flood he been instructed to write to him a letter on the subject but deems this unnessecary as he has already spoken to him on the matter.
