Unique IDA-01199043SeriesLetters SentDate11th December 1844Date qualifierexactFormatVolume - Letterpress CopybookDescriptionAt the direction of the Mayor, aknowledging the reciept Councillor Thurlow's letter dated 10th of December 1844 objecting to a note from the City Solicitor requesting the payment of fines for non-attendance at Council meetings. In reply, informing Councillor Thurlow that on account of the Mintue Book, he was absent from Council meetings on the 27th of May and 5nd of June 1844 and his name was included in the Return of Absences which was presented to the Council on the 26th of Ausgust when he was present and did not inform him of the Council's intent to recover fines for absences as he assumed it to be common knowledge among members of Council.
