A sum of £1270 was approved for construction of the children's playground on lot 6, 7 and 8. Council also approved the extension of the playground by the addition of 100' x 90' of the rest area and fencing and surface restoration at cost of £350. Council also approved further extension of the playground to Pring Street, including a temporary area required for widening of Pring Street. No further action is to be taken to widen Pring Street between McElhone Street and Dowling Street, and the playground be extended to present BL Pring Street, and 12 feet splay to be provided at corners of Pring and McElhone Street and Pring and Dowling Street. Total area: 32 3/4 per. ; 33 per. ; 1r, 25 3/4 per. ; 25 per. ; 2r, 11.3 per. ; 6.95 per. The park is extant.
