Council erected electricity sub-station in 1904 at north east corner of the park and additions carried out in 1906. 2 1/9 per was incorporated into the Broadway, but had not been revoked from the park. Substation building removed when no longer required by the Electricity Department, and an area restored to the park. 4 1/4 was removed from the park and added to the roadway in the widening of York Street for approach to the Harbour Bridge. Declaration of area as a public park to be known as the "Lang Park", Council appointed Trustee, Plans S18-2269R and S312-858LF (Gazette 24/7/1931, folio 2729) Act Book 2/181, area 0.2.37 3/4. 5 per revoked from public recreation and dedicated as road (Gazette 1/4/1932, folio 1161) Act Book 2/212 Plan S4-73 (Description Book 6/98). Splays at York and Grosvenor Street and York and Lang Street 1/4 per. resumed for southern approach to the Harbour Bridge (Gazette 16/9/32, folio 3459-60) PlanG1-58/1. Land reserved from sale or lease (Gazette No. 12. 20/1/33, folio 274) Acts 2/233 revoked (Gazette 3/2/1933) and dedication of splays as public road (Gazette No. 53. 8/3/35 2/263) Plans G2-114/1 and G1-58/1. Approval of a gas lamp installation, subject to conditions. A Resolution of Council objecting to proposal by Department of Main Road to resume a of section of the park in connection with Western Distributor and amendment to proposed resumption, power given to Town Clerk for preservation of trees. A Resolution of Council amended proposal for resumption of section by Department of Main Road, Council objection in accordance with clause 40 of County of Cumberland Planning Scheme, ordinance re Tree Preservation Order. Total area: 2r, 37 3/4; 21 7/8 per. ; 4 1/4 per. ; 2r, 33 1/2 per. ; 5 per. ; 2r, 28 1/2 per. ; 1/4 per. ; 2r 28 1/4 per. ; The park is extant.
