Letter from Lands Department giving permission to ease south west corner (Plan S169-907) and north west corner (PlanS170-907). Area further reduced by about 1r, 11 1/2per. by the widening of York Street for the approach to the Harbour Bridge (Book 69/46). Appropriation by Railway Commissioners (Gazette 29.12.33 No 218, folio 4589). A six inch induct vent from Railway Drill Room was installed by Railway Department, the City Solicitor advised that Railway Comms had legal right to instal inlet and Council is not able to establish claim for damages. Waiting shed for Omnibus passengers erected at Carrington Street at a cost of £281-11-,5 recoverable from the Transport Department. Offer by Railways of a tenancy (area tinted red on plan) for park purposes at rental of £1 per annum, accepted by Council. No structure to be erected (Gazette 29.12.33 Acts 2/242, folio 4589). An area of 300 square feet occupied by Department of Road Transport and Tramways for entrance to Wynyard trains, rental £1 per annum , if required from 30.5.51, licence vide "Agreements". Two areas each 3/4per resumed by Department of Railways for Tin Ducts (Gazette 144 /11.12.59, folio 3822). A Resolution of Council approving the application submitted by the Department of Railways to connect a 3/4" water services to the council existing water services for supplying water to fountains subject to condition. Also approving application submitted by Department of Government Transport to lay underground cable to supply electricity to omnibus waiting shelter subject to condition and later amending the condition. Also approved reconstruction of York Street between Erskine and Margaret Street chargeable to Department of Railways and easement for underground cable DP 553857 (Gazette No96, folio3604). Proposed revocation of Margaret and Carrington Street (gazette 33d 17.3.78, folio 907). Revoked (Gazette 14 d 26.1.79, folio 409 (Acts Book 5/11)). 234.7m2 resumed (Gazette 99d 25.8.78, folio 3594).
