Boundary describing Victoria Park (Gazette 18.11.1884, folio 7745). Proclamation of area to be known as "Victoria Park". (Gazette 16.8.1887, folio 5378). Lease approved to Bowling Club by Minister for Land on 23.5.1892. Appointment of Trustees for area of 23a, 3r and 16p by Council Act 3, 1910. Land exchanged with the University, land area of 7a or 35 1/2p vested in Council, area of 9a vested in the University and area of 2a or 21 1/2 declared as a public road Ms 5912 SY, (S4-17/2). Approval by Governor for alteration to an area of Parramatta Road (Gazette 2.8.1929, folio 3293) and sale to the Minister for Lands (Gazette 20.9.1929, folio 3898). An area of 3 1/2p excluded from the park and absorbed in to Paramatta Road widening not yet gazetted. Bowling Green area occupied by The Victoria Park Bowling Club at rental of £26 pre annum. Establishment of a Kindergarten under joint control of Education Department and the Council, Resolution of Council 2.7.12 TC 2701/12. An area of 3/4p and 2 1/2p added to the park and 3 1/2 removed from the park and added to Paramatta Road (S4-17/9). The Lodge on the south side of Main Drive at City Road sold to the University for £250, and removed by 5.12.39. An area of 1a, 2r, and 30 3/4 p ceased to be a road, and was vested in the Council for park purposes. Two year lease of area to Bowling Club from 1.9.52 at rate of £260 per annum plus rates and taxes. A Resolution of Council passing control of swimming pool to Parks, vide (Towns Clark's instruction 1.6.1956). A special lease of Bowling Green No. 60/228 to Victoria Park Bowling Club from Land Department. Bowling Club proposed revocation of dedication of 1a,1r, 34 1/2p notified (Gazette 77 on 28.7.61, folio 2252) and area revoked (Gazette 107, 29.9.61, folio 3066/7). An application from Victoria Bowling Club to lease area to the northern end of the Bowling Green for use as carpark rejected by Council. A Resolution of Council on 7.9.64 for totem pole and provision of floodlighting, permission for department of Motor Transport to instal cable ducts traffic control signals in Broadway and Parramatta Road. Proposed easement for electricity purpose by SCC , easement resumed (Gazette 139, 28.11.69, folio 4911 (4/180)). Portion of park to be leased to Victoria Park Bowling Club. Total area: 21a, 3r, 16 per. ; 7a, 35 1/2 per. ; 9a.; 1a, 2r, 9 1/4 per. ; 20a, 2r, 2 1/4 per. ; 2 1/2 per. ; 20a, 2r, 2 per. ; 1a, 2r, 30 3/4 per. ; 22a, 32 3/4 per. ; 1a, 1r, 34 1/2 per. ; 20a, 2r, 38 1/4 per.
