Widening of Elizabeth Street by 18 feet and Liverpool Street by 15 feet Plans S105.907 (S323-907 Elizabeth Street widening footways). Note in remark column, Elizabeth Street widened to approximately 78 feet leaving no footway on the park side S4-74/1 and Liverpool Street kerb moved back 20 feet approximately 75 feet from SBL. Area of 1a, 1r, 16 1/2per was absorbed in widening. Also area of 5 2/3per was taken for widening of the roadway at corner of Elizabeth and Liverpool Street (in 1899 Vide Plan E98). Also area of 1a,1r, 5per revoked from the park and used for widening of College Street to 90 feet including rounding corners at Liverpool Street and Prince Albert Road. In 1917 under William Street resumption plan, Park Street was widened to 100 feet (Gazette 1/6/1916, folio 3007). An area of 17 1/2 p occupied by City Railway Entrance (Plans G1-63/1 to G1-63/4), an area of 36 4/10 per revoked and re-dedicated for War Memorial (Gazette 9/1/1931, folio 117 Acts book 12/173). Revised area of the park as on 24/9/1931 shown by green edging detail sheet Ja & Jb (Rack 25 row 114 shelf 7) excluding Railway entrance and the War Memorial site but including part of College Street for road purposes. Original area occupied by PWD (Norton Griffiths and Co) for City Railway purposes was 4a,2r, 11p vide (CS report 31/1/18 in TC 2891/17), old detail sheet Jb sewers S4-30/2. On 28/8/1916 fencing of enclosure began, Council's power to compel removal. Resolution of Council; areas taken up by buildings, Archibald Memorial Fountain controlled by Directors of Parks (minutes dated 19.2.1950). Resolution of Council vesting of the Women's Amenities Centre in the Town Clerk, under the management of Directors of Parks, and officially named as " Women's Amenities Centre". Resolution of Council approving application submitted by Department of Motor Transport to erect cubicle 1'7''x 2'5''x 4'8'' in Northern section near western stairway entrance to the College street pedestrian subway (subject to conditions), proposed construction of Parking Station near College Street (Plan S4-75/117). Strata acquisition by Public Transport Commission of North Hyde Park and resumption by Railways for entrance to St James Station and acquisition by Public Transport Commission. Total area: 43a, 5 per; 40a; 1a, 1r, 16 1/2 per; 5 2/3per; 17 1/2 per; 36 4/10; 4a,2r, 11per; 69.3 m2; 107.48 m2; 73 m2. Plan details: S 196 907; S 883 907; S105 907. The park is extant.
